“The Holy Face” artwork by Richard L George, was made by special request as a cropped version of my original artwork, “The Divine Mercy” image.

I made some additional changes to the garments for the final image. The face was created using the imprinted face found on the Shroud of Turin as the foundational facial map for the artwork. The several years of working as a 3d modeler gave me a keener insight into how the image left on the Shroud would have “map-out” over the curvatures of the actual physical face.

This canvas print of “The Holy Face” is hand-stretched on a poly-cotton blend canvas with a satin finish protective coating.
